  Have been going to Severns Valley for about one year. Great preaching the Word of God and lots of Christian activities for children which are our future. If you've looking for a large church that still sticks with the Word of God, no exceptions, give Severns a try!

  People are very friendly, service is truthful, and honest, unlike other churches, where they tell you what you want to hear. It's nice to get the full meaning of Gods, word instead of good parts.
  
  Also they are willing to set down with you one on one, just in case you don't understand something completely.
  
  By the way the reason they didn't want the dog in the church, is because: They where afraid of someone getting bit, because after all it is a service dog and they tend to be very protective.

  I have been apart of Severns Valley for almost 16 years now. This is where I heard the good news of Jesus Christ and have been shown God's grace! I have great community through Severns that I can do life with and grow in my faith so I can share the good news with others! The Church- the body of Christ- is a gathering of sinners whom need a Savior! The Truth of Jesus is shared here and there are many great ministries for all ages.

  Do not go to Severn's Valley.....that is, if you want to be "comfortable" and remain where you are spiritually; go to Severn's, if you want to be challenged, taught and transformed by the Word of God. The sign of a healthy church isn't how many stars we give them on google, rather, how many soldiers for Christ they are training up and turning out. I can honestly say my family and I are better believers and stronger in our faith for having joined and getting involved in this wonderful church. If you are un-churched and looking for a place to worship, I urge you to come listen to just one message. Visit, worship, get involved and watch the change in your own life take place.

  Became a family when I needed a family the most. I'd searched for years for a church to actually TEACH the Bible and explain it so we can all understand and grow. All the other places I attended I felt awkward and out of place since I didn't know much. But my knowledge, faith, and love has grown immensely since attending Severns. Usually a "big church" would turn me away, but this one just drew me in! So blessed to be raising my family in this God Centered place!
